The UX/UI Specialist participates in developing the concept of a project, responsible for the consistent
production of high-quality, innovative design solutions. This role is responsible for the production and delivery
of design deliverables, connecting business needs and user experience driven design, developing exceptional
user experiences, utilizing his/her professional knowledge and creativity to create outstanding designs. The
UX/UI Specialist is pivotal in the design process, and will be involved early in the Discovery phase,
collaborating with experience researchers all the way to the Development phase, specifying navigation,
interaction and design through sketches, wireframes, Information Architecture maps and task flows.

What will your job look like?

Understands and translates strategic company goals, business requirements, and user tasks and expectations
into compelling user experiences
Creates UX/UI solutions that take into consideration content, navigational structure, human-machine
interaction, and nonfunctional constraints with a holistic view
Develops GUI visuals that are branded, creative, innovative, while facilitating a useful interactive experience,
ensuring concepts and designs are consistent with the overall branding strategy and marketing initiatives
Defines art vision, visual language, and standards to create the application style guides for developers
Creates documentation, style guides and asset resources for the art and programming teams to follow and use
Leads the design process through sessions with customers, showcasing the proposed design while engaging
stakeholders
Consistently advocates for the user’s interests while balancing professionalism with real world project
constraints
Collaborates with customer, design and development teams during Design phases and subsequent
development support cycles. Guides and mentors team members and external parties such as, for example,
design studios
Provides and signs off on creative estimations and ensures high quality execution of all deliverables
For UX: Performs functional analysis and design of specific application behaviors (business flows, application
flows, screen layouts, logical and physical data model, etc.)
Prepares wireframes and/application flows. Reviews the flows with key stakeholders, makes adjustments
based on feedback, and obtains final approval.
Employs and executes such usability tools as heuristic reviews, metrics, usability testing, and so on
For UI:
Defines visual language and standards to create the application style guides for developers
Develops GUI visuals that are branded, creative and innovative, while facilitating a useful interactive
experience
Ensures concepts and designs are consistent with the overall branding strategy and marketing initiatives

All you need is...

4 years of experience designing/developing/consulting user interfaces for various channels (e.g., mobile, web,
desktop) covering the entire user-centric design lifecycle
Hands on knowledge on technologies like HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks like
Angular/React/jQuery etc.
Systems/Business Analyst background - Advantage
Credentials
Bachelor and/or master’s degree in a relevant field of study (i.e., Human Factors, Graphic Design, Interactive
Arts, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related area.)
Domain knowledge obtained through an academic background, certified usability training and/or equivalent
sources
Familiarity with prototyping and usability tools (Axure, Visio, Morae) - advantage
